About the Author
Ray Morimura is one of the foremost woodblock printers of his generation. His stunning woodblock and linocut prints juxtapose traditional scenes and subjects with modern techniques. I hanged this calendar on my wall and within 2 weeks the hole ripped and entire calendar kept falling. I used the next month to see if it would happen again, and a week later it fell apart.
I am a therapist, LMSW, and often like to leave my patients with a positive quote for them to ponder on after their session. This calendar provides a good size image and large enough printed quotes - visible to me and my patients in my office.
I like the large numbers. The art is calming and pleasant.

I love the calm vibe of the quotes and artwork - perfect for a moment of reflection during a busy work day. The calendar days are ample sized, room for plenty of entries. The font used for numbering the days is large and easy to read. Zen-tastic!
It's a decent calendar, but when it says "all major religions," it includes paganism. So there's that.
