WTH! I thought this was a 3 book series and now I find out there's a 4th. I loved the series and Olivia was so smart, funny and had spunk. Hunter is to die for. I loved his dominant nature and how hard he tried to resist Olivia only to fall hopelessly in love. They were great together and the sex scenes were great and not over the top. My only gripe is the books were way too short for the price and now I have to buy another one to get what? This last book had an HEA. I just wish these authors would quit jacking us readers up by making us wait for the next book and spending more money. This could have easily been a 2 or 3 book series. I would recommend this series highly for romance readers but I don't know if I'll buy the 4th book because I got my HEA.
Olivia stayed the night in Hunters house for the first time. In the light of the new day come problems from Blaire the Fiancée by contract. Now Hunter has to try and get out of said contract, but that also means dealing with his father. Rodge (Hunter’s father) will not make it easy and his request is not something Hunter’s willing to give him. It just might cause Hunter to lose most of his fortune to get free of Blaire, and she’s not willing to let go without a fight. And If Rodge get want he want Olivia could lose Hunter. Awesome doesn't even describe this book, It’s so much more.
In all, I'm still enjoying hunter and Olivia's story. The sex is nicely written and this right in the vein of billionaire romance.I was not a fan of the plot to deal with hunters dad. Drugging people is never okay.Nor was I a fan of the proofreader for this book. As a note, all authors should run a find on the worst homophone offenders particularly waist/waste. There were several in this book and it jerked me out of the story every time.
This book had some interesting twits and turns but felt like there could of been a little more drama with crazy girlfriend. The intimate scenes by this book were very repetitive. The author did try to add a little bit of spice to a few of them, but at this point in the series I was invested in the story and there was a lot of intimate scenes that took up 4-5 pages.
Not sure how much more I can fall for Hunter and Livy. They are so great for each other, and it just keeps getting better with each book. I am worried about what's to come with Blaire, and Rodge for that matter. I don't like either of them at all, and am ready for them to get what's coming to them. They are just awful, but that makes them come together that much more. I am so ready for the next book, so I can find out where they end up.
These are the first books that I have read by this author and I can't wait to read more. Hunter is a hot billionaire with lots of insecurities. Carrie graduated from college and had been unable to find a job. She went on a job interview not expecting to get the job as many other hotter girls had applied. It isn't really in her field but she is desperate. She gets the job and now has to solve how to deal with her boss.Lots of hot sex, good editing, vindictive ex girlfriend, and very easy characters to fall in love with. Can't wait to read the next book. Try them and you will fall in love with them too.I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Just keeps getting better and better! Loving this series and reading one after another.I wish they were longer, especially when they run around $4 a ebook. Usually I won't pay that for short books, so it goes to show ya these are very good for me to keep devouring them one after the other! Onto book 4 now... ;)
I really love reading about Hunter and Olivia's journey. There chemistry is still on fire and I'm loving how their connection is growing and Hunter is finally realizing he can love. I was nervous for their visit to his moms and was holding my breathe during dinner when Blair was there... Fortunately Hunter was there for her and his mom loved her. I love how. I have Hunter has grown and come to realize how much Olivia means to him,,,Off to read the final book, I'm not ready for their story to end
